About Us:
ACOI Inc., is a Not For Profit organization which works to improve, inspire and motivate women and young girls in the community through empowerment and education. ACOI raises awareness and teaches women about early breast cancer detection and proper patient care. The organization is known for their Annual “50 Shades of Pink Cancer Awareness Event, which has taken place the last 5 years. One of our supporter’s, America Cancer Society along with other local Health Wellness Agencies provide informational pamphlets. At the Luncheon there are interactive activities designed for those who are suffering with the disease and also for those who have survived and continue to fight. Proceeds from the event benefits local Health Wellness foundation so they can continue their mission of Celebrating Survivors and bringing awareness to others.A Cup Of Inspiration.

OUR FOUNDER
A Cup of Inspiration was birthed through Alicia Whitehurst from watching her brother suffer from cancer. She had her own personal scare with cancer. Through these very near and dear life experiences she has chosen to celebrate alongside those who have fallen victim to cancer as a current fighter or a survivor. Also, this year we intend to recognize and love on all of those who have experienced domestic violence. We stand beside you!
